Other characteristics: He has a traditional Jedi Padawan haircut, which consists of a small ponytail on the back of his head and a long, thin braid that comes past his shoulder. It marks his status as a Jedi apprentice. As of the end of Dayshift 25, his braid was removed by one of the nurses, so people who saw the braid from before might notice that it's missing now. He still has a crew-ish cut with a small ponytail in the back, however.

For Doyleton: He's wearing a sweater vest, a long-sleeved, white shirt, a pair of brown pants and some old, faded loafers.

Personality: As a young man, Obi-Wan has a dry sense of humor and a sarcastic wit, though he isn't terribly sociable and can even sometimes come across as cold. He’s loyal and dedicated to both his Master and the Order he has sworn to serve and protect. Even so, Yoda says that he senses his Master’s defiance in him, though he is still highly regarded by other Jedi. He is a fierce warrior who has been trained by his Master to rely on his instincts and not let his emotions rule him. Despite this, Obi-Wan has a soft-spoken, humble demeanor that makes him good at peaceful negotiating.

Abilities: Obi-Wan’s a Jedi. As such, he’s Force-sensitive and has been extensively trained to use this for the benefit of others. (The Force has been defined as an energy field created by all living things, which surrounds and binds everyone and everything together.) Because he’s a Force-user, Obi-Wan is skilled in a variety of mentally-based abilities such as telepathy and psychokinesis. He can also have precognitions of future events, as well as the ability to bend the will of weak-minded people. His physical abilities are also enhanced, which allow him to do an array of almost acrobatic moves. Like other Jedi, Obi-Wan is also skilled with a lightsaber.

Because of his extensive Jedi training, Obi-Wan is perceptive of both his surroundings and the people he interacts with. He is also capable of keeping a clear head in chaotic situations, often meditating and centering himself in order to keep his emotions from ruling his actions. He has a sharp mind and is a fast learner. Obi-Wan is also a skilled pilot.

Weaknesses: As a patient at Landel's, Obi-Wan’s sensitivity to the Force has been dulled a lot. His abilities are mostly limited to mild forms of empathy, being able to slide small objects around for brief periods of time, vague precognitions, and sometimes he’s be able to bend the will of extremely weak-minded people. (The latter heavily depends on the other person's state of mind.) Also, his lightsaber is obviously missing, so he'a unable to fight with that. Even with one, his movements are not nearly as fluid as they would be if his connection to the Force were completely intact.

Brief personal history: Not much is known about Obi-Wan's early childhood, though he has a few memories of a brother named Owen. He was mostly raised in the Jedi Temple as an Initiate. In order to be fully trained to become a Jedi Knight, however, Obi-wan needed a Jedi Master to take him on as an apprentice. (If an Initiate is not selected by the age of 13, he is sent away from the Temple.) Just a few weeks shy of his 13th birthday, Qui-Gon Jinn initially rejected Obi-Wan because of the boy's seemingly aggressive and unpredictable nature, and he was sent away to work as a farmer for the Agri-Corps. Fate intervened, however, and the two were quickly reunited on Bandomeer and had to work together in order to save the planet's resources from Offworld Corporation. In light of these events, Obi-Wan was accepted as Qui-Gon's apprentice, and the two spent over a decade together as a Master/Padawan team, resolving political disputes on various planets and overcoming several obstacles in their own relationship. This continued up until their mission on Naboo (Episode I), which resulted in Qui-Gon's death. Qui-Gon's parting words to Obi-Wan were the instruction to train Anakin Skywalker, who he believed to be the "Chosen One" that would restore balance to the Force. Despite the fact that Obi-Wan disagreed with training Anakin, he decided to fulfill his Master's last wish.

Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon have been reunited and are pleased to see each other again after the tragic events of Naboo. Despite the happy reunion, however, a lot of issues concerning Anakin's training, Obi-Wan's status as a Jedi Knight, and his and Qui-Gon's complex relationship with one another are up in the air and unresolved.

Not long after his arrival, Obi-Wan encountered a soldier from the Clone Wars named RC-1136. Though he's unsettled by the man's knowledge of himself and Anakin, as well as the prospect of a war in the Republic, they decide to form a sort of alliance. However, he is unaware that RC-1136 encountered his future self at Landel's just a week prior, and that he fully intends to carry out Order 66, starting with Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi himself.
